Hamburg’s small private hotel - not everyone’s taste Hotels are a matter of taste. Those who stay with us for the first time tend to be surprised by the understatement that is reflected not only in the atmosphere and furnishings of our hotel, but also in the way we look after our guests and their needs. And those who appreciate this lack of ostentation make us their home in Hamburg. After all, we can offer a feeling of comfort and serenity that most likely can be achieved only by a small, privately owned and operated hotel. On the other hand, our guests appreciate not only the lack of pretentious trappings, but also our charming garden, Italian restaurant and our own sailboat, which they can use to cruise the nearby Aussenalster, the downtown lake that lent us its name.         |
